I knew it was time for Rosie to get a fur cut when people kept remarking, "Don't you think she's a little chubby?" She isn't. She's just furry.
Or at least she was. She's been scalped now.
But we still love her. And she loves Ole best of all.

Waffles!
I had a many-year-long wish come true this weekend - I got a waffle maker. Niels & Cate sent one to me from Denmark and I love it! How cute are the hearts?!
Of course, I put it straight to use on Sunday morning. MMMMM.
I'm sure my batter pouring technique could use a little refining, but I've got some weekends coming up for practice. :)

Night at the Opera
On Tuesday, we had a night at the opera. La bohème by Puccini was on and neither of us had seen it before. It was also our first time at the Royal Theatre in town.
It was a really fun opera. Puccini is enjoyable himself, but they had updated the set so it was shot in post-war Paris and that really lent to the story.
Unfortunately, I don't have too many photos of the set. The stewards were giving me evil eyes with the few shots I got at the end.
Waiting at dinner
Inner stairwell
Looking back up at the theatre
The orchestra pit
Part of the set
