Skagen

With Ole being on research leave this term, we were fortunate to take a holiday during May, which we normally would not be able to. We've wanted to see Skagen for awhile and with Cate & Niels holidaying there in May, it seemed an opportune time to visit. We had the most amazing, beautiful weather. It was perfect for a holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Here are some photo highlights:

And for the garden...

I received another mustardy addition this week, as a birthday gift. How gorgeous is this watering can?! It was especially surprising as it was something I had pinned on Pinterest. My clever cousin used my pins as a "wish list" and sent me this as a gift. Lovely.

A little mustard on the side

As promised, I improved another little stool/side table with a spray of paint. This time, I decided to "dip" the top part, leaving the original white legs. I went with mustard. It's one of my new favourite colours, echoed in quite a bit of our artwork (it so happens), and a top holiday souvenir. I LOVE mustard!

Notice a "mustard & ketchup" theme in the colours here.
