Energetic Edinburgh

I spent Friday - a very long Friday - in Edinburgh with my work colleague and friend Clare, attending a conference on energy efficiency in historic buildings. It was super interesting, particularly as the day was based around a pilot study conducted by a local environmental group. I won't bore you with the details, but it was exciting and reassuring to see a group doing something to address the certain areas in historic buildings where they suffer energy inefficiency the most.

Also got a couple photos - Wallace Monument and Princes Street Gardens, and the Balmoral Hotel.

p.s. Did you know that major parts of the City are actually a UNESCO World Heritage Site?
