After a record 2 years and 6 months, Ole completed his PhD, successfully undertaking his viva on 13 March back up in Aberdeen. We loaded up the whole family for the occasion, driving up to Aberdeen on the 12th, where we stayed for a couple nights with our friends Brian & Lee-Ann out at their gorgeous place in Ellon. On Saturday, we headed over to Bob & Lynne's where the celebrations continued.
It was so fun to see everybody and to be back in our old hometown. We walked our old walk along the Deeside Rail Line in Cults, frequented favourite pubs, and had a great time catching up with people and of course, toasting Ole's success!
