Jens Comes to Visit

Jens came to visit for a few days over the weekend on his way between Liverpool & Denmark. Rosie really enjoyed getting some cuddle time with her favourite uncle, and we enjoyed visiting and eating!

 

 

As a treat, we got what we think was tritip/culottesteg for our Saturday dinner. They don't really have this cut of meat here; our butcher had to consult Wikipedia to figure out what we were talking about! He then brought out a whole leg of beef to carve us a cut. It was tasty.

 

 

Rosie is always around to help out, should anything unfortunately drop to the floor.

 

I made a yummy cake. It was the Hummingbird Bakery's signature cake. Notice I am using the past tense. There is none left, of course.
