Since spring, I've been getting my eggs from a Northumberland farmer. No, I don't travel all the way up there - thankfully I don't have to! Rather, a member of staff from the ag department does a weekly pick up for a group of folks at work.
They're all free-range (naturally) and really top quality. These eggs are so much more creamier. I think they've actually improved what I bake. I don't know what the difference is, as I always buy free range, but these ones are tops!
Look at those beauties! They're really good sized eggs - definitely in the "large" class.
So, we have free range, supporting local farmers and to top it all, I only pay £1.10 for 6 eggs. How sweet is that!
