I've been working on my Switzerland book (finally) and as usual am enjoying reliving our holiday again. Well, MY holiday anyway. Ole was working. We were in Bern for 4 days and in Geneva for 1 day before going to Italy. Here are some highlights from our trip.
Bern was gorgeous. It really is a charming, quaint town. Geneva was, well, it was not uneventful (because there was a music fest on); not disappointing (because my expectations were low anyway); maybe just boring and soulless and dirty. A lot like Brussels.
