Our flat received a facelift earlier this week with a lick or 3 of paint. It looks fantastic! I only regret not having a "before" photo of some of the stonework to show how dramatically improved it looks. (Painter came earlier than I thought.)
I really wanted a different colour for the door, but that would involve too much, so we left it at boring black. Even so, a fresh coat of paint and some shiny handles make it look very smart.
